A tree lined avenue brings you into the grounds of Karralika Springs B&B where luxury and comfort await you. Karralika Springs B&B offers three in-house guest rooms. There is a guest lounge area upstairs with tv/dvd/cd/radio. The King Room is a large luxurious room with stunning valley and mountain views with an ensuite and the Queen Room or Double Room can be booked with its own bathroom with twin showers and spa, or they can be booked with shared bathroom facilities. Ideal for couples and families travelling together. Guests can enjoy wine and cheese and a fire in winter in the sunken lounge area with magnificent views. Walk to the top of the mountain for more panoramic views over Kangaroo Valley.

Visit Bendeela Camping/Picnic Grounds next to the Kangaroo River to see the friendly wombats and enjoy a picnic by the river.  Bendeela Camping area, Bendeela Road, Kangaroo Valley has a large grassy area at headwaters of Lake Yarrunga with swimming, non-powered boating, fishing, toilets. No wood fires permitted. Bring own gas BBQ. No bookings required. (Sydney Catchment Authority managed land).

A visit to this Open Air Museum is a MUST for all visitors to Kangaroo Valley. Museum visitors will enjoy the historic buildings which all originated in the Kangaroo Valley area. One, in 1973 dismantled slab by slab on it's original site and re-erected as a beautiful homestead in the Museum grounds. Along with this is a saddlery, a dairy, a forge, a timber cutters hut, a bush school and many more, all set in a magnificent park with BBQ and toilet facilities. The children will love to cross the 72m swinging bridge which leads to 2 marked bushwalks on more than seven hectares of natural reserve.

A bushwalker’s paradise. Whether you’re looking for an easy short walk or a more strenuous all day challenge you can be sure to find a good selection of walks in Kangaroo Valley. Surrounded by Morton National Park, the valley is blessed with an abundance of pristine wilderness on its doorstep from dramatic gorge views, rainforest and tall eucalypt forests to waterfalls, lakes, rivers and creeks. Don’t miss the exquisite works of modern and traditional Australian artists, stunning art, pottery, sculpture, glass and jewellery at the local galleries, visit historic Barrengarry Store, Fudge House and Kangaroo Valley Post Office and the world renowned Kangaroo Valley Woodcrafts (Australian fine timber products) and The Nostalgic Factory (find old wares, postcards and books) and the many other excellent gift shops where you are sure to be tempted!

Bass Fishing Kangaroo Valley Lake Yarrunga and The Shoalhaven. Tallowa Dam and Kangaroo River are great places to fish. The best way to fish the area is from a kayak or canoe with entry points at Hampden Bridge, Bendeela Picnic Ground and Tallowa Dam. A fresh water fishing licence is required ,$12 from fishing shops, also available from Kangaroo Valley Rural Supplies and the Canoe and Kayak Outfitters in Kangaroo Valley. 1800 805 742 for guided Bass fishing tours.

Dolphin Cruise
Take a cruise and see dolphins in the wild! Jervis Bay Marine Park is an area of outstanding natural beauty with a wide range of marine wildlife including the popular dolphins and whales, along with glorious white sandy beaches, towering sandstone cliffs and sparkling blue waters.

SCENIC DRIVES - A selection of scenic drives both in Kangaroo Valley and surrounding areas can widen your experience of the beauty of this area. Time is indicated in minutes from Karralika Springs B&B.

  • Take a short drive to magnificent Fitzroy Falls and National Park Centre and Cafe. A short easy boardwalk will take you to the falls or you can select from the many varied longer walks. (20 min)

  • Short drive to Tallow Dam (20 min) -
    The dam is a major part of the Shoalhaven water scheme and is situated at the junction of the Kangaroo and Shoalhaven Rivers, approximately 23 kilometres from the picturesque Kangaroo Valley Township. Tallowa Dam supplements the Sydney water supply. A picnic ground, barbecues and toilet facilities are situated near the dam. Fishing and canoeing are permitted. There is a portage path around the dam for canoeists to continue their journey downstream on the Shoalhaven River to Nowra.

  • Upper Kangaroo River is a great place to view the magnificent escarpment, walk across the swing bridge over the river or take a swim in the pristine rock pools at Flat Rock in the gorge. (20 min)

  • Visit Illawarra Fly Tree Top Walk and Cafe. Drive to Robertson then towards Jamberoo or come up from Kiama to visit Shoalhaven's newest attraction. Discover the majesty of the rainforest tree tops, 25 metres above the ground and take in the spectacular panoramic scenery over Lake Illawarra to the South Pacific Ocean.
